Hebrew Studies courses at the University of Utah are designed to acquaint the student with topics such as the Hebrew Bible, Jewish Civilization, Judeo-Christian relations, the Holocaust, and the social and geo-political context of the modern state of Israel. Thematically, such courses are closely linked to (and often cross-listed with) other curricular streams in the College of Humanities, such as Religious Studies, Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies, Classics, and Middle East Studies.
