Ashton Lazarus Wins Summer NEH Award

Ashton Lazarus has received a National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Award for his project “Sensation and Renunciation in The Tale of Genji,” which focuses on the tension between the allure of sensory experience and Buddhist distrust of the senses.
