How do we recognize and address the latent sexism in our favorite movies? How does Bollywood handle a #MeToo reckoning? Heena Patel (Co-Producer and Artistic Director) and Proma Khosla (Company Director) of Bollywood Boulevard examine sexism and patriarchy on celluloid as well as their relationship to attitudes and culture in Indian society.

Proma Khosla is a New York-based writer and dancer. She has published essays and reviews about Bollywood since college, graduated from a Bollywood dance team, and worked on Bollywood sets. When she's not dancing, she writes about Bollywood (as well as other movies and TV) for Mashable.
